"The Bible Institute is meant to meet the needs of adults that are not met elsewhere in the church. In a world where most people who come to Christ as adults have no church background and are biblically illiterate, there are educational needs which cannot be met in one to four hours a week (Adult Sunday School, Morning Worship, Evening Worship, perhaps a mid-week service). The Bible institute serves as an arm of the local church to provide advanced biblical, doctrinal and practical training for adults."

The Future of LBI

As Shekinah relocates to Minnesota in June of 2010, the Board of Directors felt it best to wait to continue classes until after our relocation. We have slated classes to begin in St. Paul, Minnesota tentatively November 2010.

We look forward to working with our new students and wish our graduates every happiness. God bless each and every one of you.

Why should you attend classes at LBI?

Churches have a need for well trained volunteers more than ever in order to complete the mission that God has in mind for them. Christians are constantly challenged in every facet of their life on their faith and their biblical beliefs. Our families are in grave danger of losing their hold on faith and even our children are challenging us to be more forthcoming about why we believe in Christ.

It's time that we stop being afraid to answer the call to serve Christ on every level! No matter what your denomination we welcome you to the Lighthouse Bible Instiute. At LBI we learn explore together prayerfully and joyfully asking the Holy Spirit to teach through our instructors the Word of God. We welcome everyone in the community to join us during class and celebrate the Risen Savior together.

Our students learn Phil 4:13 in order to encourage themselves through the challenge that adults returning to school must face: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Register for one of classes and learn with other future Christian leaders.

LBI also emphasizes personal Christian growth and leadership and a commitment to excellence. By attending class at LBI you challenge yourself to develop a relationship with Christ that will lead you to a closer and deeper fellowship with Him. Isn't it about time that you renewed your first love for Christ and demanded accountability from yourself?
